I'm Feeling Cross!

Thought I was being good and bought and packed Christmas presents early for a change. This morning I've received an email from a Company from whom I bought a number of presents only to find they are now all half price....I'm so cross. Makes we want to purchase presents from them ready for next Christmas but I won't bother. Has this happened to anyone else?

Feeling cross !

Don't blame you !

Can't say it has happened to me but more by luck than judgement I imagine !!

I now wait for the pre Christmas sales for all but the "must have " pressies. This means I save money but the stress of shopping a week before is horrendous and I age 5 years daily !

So relax and feel very smug !

Feeling cross

How irritating! Got to be worth an email to the company you used, number one you will feel better, number two they might just refund something.

I don't blame you

It is very annoying and although I have not had this problem with presents, I have often purchased clothes only to find them later reduced. There is really no way round this because if you don't buy things when you first see them there is no guarantee they will still be in the shops later.

At least you are really organised with your presents wrapped and ready but it is not much comfort.

I'm Feeling Cross!

I bought some jeans online but had them delivered to my local store as they didn't have my size when I went in, and it is free to have them delivered to the store.
On Monday I went in to collect them and thought I had better try them on while I was there to make sure they fit which they did perfectly.
I had already paid for them online but while I was trying them on my daughter noticed that they now had them in my size and £14 cheaper in the sale! So I asked for a refund and said I would then buy the same ones that were in the sale.
The assistant didn't look very happy but she let me have the pair I had tried on and refunded me the £14. If my daughter hadn't spotted them the assistant wouldn't have mentioned they were now cheaper!

Really?

Sorry! Can't see it myself at all!

Yesterdays price is yesterdays price. Today has nothing to do with it.

I bought a coat in Next for £70. In the sale it was £35.

I did not buy it yesterday. I was happy with the price on display when I bought it, otherwise I would not have bought it.............

Sorry!

"I bought a coat in Next for £70. In the sale it was £35." "£14 cheaper in the sale!" "refunded me the £14." What's happened to all the prices on this site? Or is it some sort of code?

Forgot to say - I'd be feeling cross too!!
I've had it happen with kitchen goods and I was really annoyed about paying the extra money!!

Not cross

My husband was given a £5 voucher in M&S today which he used against his purchases and the biscuits (nearly sold out, not much choice) were BOGOF.
