Delia's Mincemeat Christams cake

Came up very good looking - did it in a 7" square tine.
Fortunately I have probably been cooking longer than Delia, so was not too worried to discover that apparently no-one had proof-read the recipe before putting it on line.

Are you saying there is an error in the recipe? If so, please could you let me know what it is?

Mincemeat Christmas Cake

Sorry if I have already sent this-PC having a hissyfit.

Not exactly an error -more an omission.
Does not say just when to incorporate the said mincemeat! LOL
Happy Christmas.

Delicious Cake

I was searching for an alternative to making my mincemeat pies and cookies and found this delightful cake. This was quite a boon as it usually takes me 6 months to make a decent mincemeat pie (getting the meats, cooking them, letting my fruits soak in brandy and bourbon etc.)I made the cake batter and filled one of my decorative tins with it. Was very pleased. Thanks!
