Weekend cooking

Last night it was chicken curry, tonight there's a coq au vin in the slow cooker, and tomorrow it's roast beef and all the trimmings. I'm at my Dad's cooking for both of us - he needs to build himself up after his recent hip operation, I'm on a low carb diet, so he gets all the potatoes, Yorkshire puds etc. and I eat salad or green leafy veg instead. Seems to be working for both of us :D

this weekend cooking

made a chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi for tonight.

tomorrow is rather extravagent, but its a whole leg of lamb, roasted - but it will do 2 other frozen ready meals for us both, a lamb stock, and a scotch broth soup...so not that bad - but lamb was on offer in tesco this week.

Weekend Plans

I'm going to be around for at least another 2 weeks (been here 4 weeks already!), Sam - have tentative plans to meet up with James and Ann after the 29th, when Ann will be available - will co-ordinate with James, and get him to keep you in the loop! Dad is much better, but still needs someone here at the moment, so can only leave the house for a few hours at a time - am planning a few days back in Ireland in the first week of November (so long as he'll be able to cope), back here again after that - not sure how long it'll be until I go home for good...

It'd be great to see you again, plus any other Deliarites :)
