Found recipe, have you ever made it in one tin and sliced in halve, or is it best to do it in two tins
no, i have always done it in 2 tins - never even thought of one tin - saves washing up lol!
Hi Sam,Made the cake on Monday, it really is nice. For some reason i don't have sandwich tins and my small cake tin broke the other month.so made a large flat cake instead, no one saw the photo of the cake so they didn't know what it should have looked like.Off to the shops today and will get some new tins, they really don't seem to last long over here, the spring to close the tins always break.It is a pity they don't make the loose bottom tins like in the old days.
