Great British Bake-off

I really like this programme too Essex Girl. I have bought the book to accompany the series and love the recipes. It is very helpful too; just before last Christmas I had several attempts to make a sugar syrup and it crystalised although I thought I had been careful not to stir it. This week Mary Berry said that this often happens when using a non-stick saucepan, so I have learned something!

I think Mel & Sue are great as presenters! Love the banter they have with the bakers!

Mel and Sue

I think Mel and Sue are great and really make the programme. I feel so sorry for the bakers when it all goes so dreadfully wrong. I have had such disasters but in the privacy of my own kitchen, known only to myself and the bin!
