When marinating

Is there something somewhere that you shouldn't marinate food in a metal dish. For some reason I've always felt it has to be in a Ceramic/glass dish?

Marinade

Yes a strongly acid marinade can react badly to being in a metal bowl. Or it can taint the food.

Better safe than sorry. Marinading in a plastic bag can be a good method too.

Marinatingq

I like the plastic bag method too, so much easier to massage through it and turn regularly.
