It's Christmas

It is!

I saw my first decorated Christmas Tree last week at a local hotel. Apparently they always put one up about now to encourage bookings for Christmas parties. I also received a catalogue in the post this week with Christmas china and Christmas crackers in it.

Clothes

Yes, I have seen the winter clothes in the shops already.

It is really sickening that shops start to stock summer clothes in January and winter ones in July !!!

Christmas

Could we not ban all mention of it until Advent? If people want to make cakes and puddings can't they just do so quietly by finding the information on this site or in books without continually asking the same questions over and over again without looking to see if the answer is under their noses.

Yes I am a grumpy old woman! I have been cooking Christmas stuff for 45 years and I really don't need to think about it in July or August or September or October or even November. Well, maybe November.

According to the Mayan calendar we won't need to worry about the Brussels sprouts because the world is going to end 22 Dec. 2012!!

hoping to be the entertainer this year too - and have pre-planned my meat order with the butcher.
