I don't mind watching the international tournaments but find it so hard watching England!

I hate football!!

OH, Sons and Grandsons are fanatics. They watch all the games, internations, home games and their own particular team choices. They ring each other during half time to discuss how it's going and who is having a
good/bad game. It is SO boring. In my opinion, watching paint dry would be more interesting!!!! However, I always ask OH how Delia's team are doing. Well, I feel I should show some loyalty.

Apols to Delia, cos it's her site, but I'm glad it's not just me Grannie ...!

One of the things that reallys gets me incensed, is the fact that while it's on, OH moans if I do anything that creates any noise (even the ironing!) - but given that it isn't a listening sport, I just don't get it.

The crowd makes white noise, the commentators talk rubbish and all the players seem determined to win BAFTAs for rolling around & playing dead. Bizarre that grown men should act quite so fragile! We have tougher 7 year olds at my Brownie group. And don't get me started on the hairbands ... what on earth do they look like?

Rant over.

Anyone for tennis then?

I'm not really available for the next two weeks! Just watched Rafa and Andy Murray back to back. Dinner was prepared this morning!

Tennis

I'm with you Liz - O/H has gone to stay with his brother for a few days - so I can watch the tennis in peace - I don't have to cook or prepare any meals if I don't feel like it - bliss!
