This awful weather - what to cook?

Is anyone else having the same problems? I keep on thinking about curries, moussaka and Lancashire hotpot, not Jersey Royals, asparagus and strawberries! Deciding what to eat in these weather conditions is nearly as tricky as deciding what to wear to work - I am back in tights and proper shoes after a brief foray into open toes!

This awful weather...

Not much Summer food here either. We have eaten a load of asparagus as it's rude not to. Apart from that and strawberries it's comfort food I'm afraid.

Seasonal Cooking

I don't really eat according to season or temperature - would happily eat salads and ice cream in Winter and dumplings in the Summer and in many cases prefer cold food (sausages for example) to hot.

Pasties are nice at any time. Followed Delia's advice about freezing them recently, which I hadn't ever done before.

I am persevering with salads, but have given in to proper shoes and my coat....
