Anyone watching this? We are very fortunate to have so many good Restaurants in the area where I live. Two of the Chefs taking part this week are Stephen Terry of "The Hardwick" Abergavenny and James Sommerin of "The Crown", Whitebrook. Although Richard Davies is Welsh his Restaurant isn't in Wales so haven't sampled his dishes. In last night's episode they all had 6 points for their Starter and they have to cook their Fish dish this evening.

I tend not to watch it during the week but try to remember the Friday judging. Must say that I think they are doing some rather weird dishes this time!

Watch every night. On holiday at the mo but still watching. Agree a lot of scientific procedures going on but enjoy the drama and love the views of all the judges. x

Is it my imagination or is Angela a strict marker? I get the impression she is somewhat underwhelmed so far. Perhaps she's quite right in commenting that individual components are cooked well but that they don't necessarily combine well. Food for thought - - - if you'll forgive the pun!

I have been watching this off and on. I did watch the Welsh chefs and their starters. They are very skilful but it's not my sort of food a bit too fussy for me.
