Delia's prune and armagnac cake

I have been using this wonderful fruit cake recipe for years but I now need to make a larger cake 10" cake, does anyone know know how to up scale the recipe for a 10" cake please?

Sorry I don't know but someone else will on here. However, in the meantime if you click on the Information Centre on the left of the screen it tells you on there how to scale up fruit cakes which might help you.

Thank you. I've seen the fruit cake scaling up but this recipe has different ingredients so I'm not sure if the basic fruit cake scaling up will work. Thanks for your comments though. L

choc & prune cake

Like the other post, I usually guess, but as the original recipe is for 8" & you want 10" then I'd do half as much again (ie 6 eggs worth instead of 4) - & in fact I did exactly that when I made it in my 9.5" tin. It was about right.

hold on - is this the choc one or not?

Sorry - I could be at cross purposes & misleading you here - I was thinking about the dense choc cake with prunes in - but are you thinking about some other cake?
