Hi :o))))

A few of you asked that I let you know when Angel had her baby. Well Lauren Eloise (7 lbs 13 ozs) arrived at 11:15 a.m. yesterday morning, her due date...19th May. All went according to plan... home birth and it was all over in 4 hours.

Love Honey xx

Angel has had Cherub

I've spoken with mum and daughter today and all is going really well. Eleanor(Angel) had her first good nights sleep in months. She considers 5 hours sleep a bonus after not sleeping for above an hour at a time.

Foodie, yes it's our first grandchild and we're so delighted that it all went according to plan... at home and in a birthing pool. Midwives said it was a text book delivery for them.

Not sure if anyone is interested and might know of someone who is going to give birth soon, but Eleanor went on a hypno birthing course and she swears it made all the difference. She appeared to enjoy the whole process of giving birth. She had no pain relief whatsoever. They teach you that they're not contractions, (the very word makes you tense your muscles), but that they are surges and you let your body go with the flow. I find it fascinating that the power of the mind can make all the difference. Lauren seems very calm... didn't cry when she was born. Early days, but let's hope it continues.
