Rain

Yes plenty of rain in Sussex, Foodie - ever since the hose-pipe ban. It hasn't been very warm either - 5 degrees at the moment but at least the sun's out.

Rain

We've had some here in Lincolnshire but not as much as some. Apparently the hosepipe ban has been lifted everywhere else but we still have one.Very cold though. Still got heating on.

Rain!

Yes, raindrops are falling on me head.

We were lucky at the weekend for our birthday party, it was nice enough to be outdoors for a while.

The rain kicked off again yesterday and its fair piddling down today, but, its good for the grass so not bothered too much.

Heating is still going on now and again!

Rain!

The past two days we've had our usual horizontal rain (much wind!), but today I woke up to a clear blue sky and sun. Not sure it's going to last, but it's nice to see!

Rain

I know it is much needed but give me a break !
Lawns in dire need of mowing but not a hope. Garden looking good but rain means slugs so how much will survive is questionable.
Not asking for a lot, 48hrs. without rain and I would cheer up, seems that is unlikely.

Rain

We had lovely sunshine on saturday, waited until 9 & then out with the mower. We have not cut the grass since last summer so with all the rain it was really bad. Luckily the neighbours down the road went out for the day so i could carry on straight through until the afternoon.
Over here in France some villages are quite strict about times on cutting grass, can't mow at lunch time/sundays or bank holidays.

Today it is back to darken clouds & rain. We even had a little hail storm earlier.
Good year for the fruit trees with all this rain.

Rain

fed up of the stuff now - saturday was glorious here - got som many outside jobs done - sunday was bright and sunny but ever so windy - and yesterday and today non stop rain. fighting a battle with the slugs and snails, which seem so attracted to my runner bean plants, and my "prettys"

Grass is growing so fast too, am doing it weekly at the moment.

and will sound weird - but car really needs a good wash and hoover, but just can;t get out long enough to do a good job

Rain!

Bob has never been to Calgary apparently Anastasia! They say here that if you don't like the weather wait half an hour....

it's been lovely here recently - Not had rain for well over a week. Watered the garden with the water butt last night

apparently it will get up to 27 today (81F)...then it goes a bit downhill for a few days with maybe snow Thurdsay night...then back up and nice again for Sunday/monday which is good as it's a long weekend.

due to wildfires there has been a fire ban which will annoy the campers this weekend.
