What have you got planned for the weekend?

I'm off to Brighton for a hen weekend so no cooking for me! Will be a nice break from the decorating but I think my liver will take a bashing!

Weekend plans

Just behave yourself Saffs!

Nothing exciting happening. I have unplanned visitors arriving this afternoon so the morning has been spent in a frenzy of cleaning and I've just stopped for lunch and a rest. Took the hound down to the vets to get his paw redressed (cut it very badly on something on his walk). Then this afternoon we have to take my car for it's MOT before friends arrive. Rest of weekend will be fairly routine.

Hope everyone enjoys their bank holiday.

Weekend plans

Very quiet for us really, 3 days of domestic chores, cleaning, cooking and gardening - weather permitting. We have lots of family turning up at the end of the week so am really looking forward to three days of leisurely preparation. And haven't had a drink since Sunday, plus a very busy work week, so am looking forward very much to a glass of delicious vino this evening!

Oh and I want to catch up on some backed up episodes of Homeland which I LOVE!!!

Variety

Have got Grandson No2 staying the night , he has asked to go to the Milton Keynes tomorrow to spend some of his birthday money.
We will have breakfast out, & probably lunch as he takes ages to shop.
Got all the family on Sunday so a roast will be on the cards , followed by steamed sponge pudding & custard.
Just the weather for a spong pudding as it is cold here.
Monday we are off to London , my Sister will do the cooking.

weekend

Not much happening here, if the weather allows may do some gardening, we are going out to a lovely local chinese restaurant tomorrow with friends and on Monday we are decorating a house that my husband is refurbishing to sell.
I wish the weather would improve though, I love the sun and it's really starting to get me down!

weekend plans

not much on.

Like many others hopefully some gardening getting fed up of this weather now. I really need to get my veg beds created as my beans are getting to tall for the cloches.

Also really need to cut the grass again.

And need to prune a rather large bush.

Not sure on the cooking front - but i shall be simmering and roasting a ham joint on sunday, for sunday lunch then some nice ham sarnies and maybe pea and ham soup (with the cooking stock) too, and something else.

want to bake another cake too, but i have to watch oven like a hawk.

not sure about saturdays food yet...i wish they would put saturday kitchen on much earlier.

weekend

not a lot here either....need to buy a mirror for spare room that we just finished decorating. Nice to have that done at last.

Also, have had a wine making kit lurking around for about 6 months so we are determined to get on and do that.

We wanted to go to see the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel tonight as it comes out today but I can't find it showing anywhere. Pretty annoying as they reviewed it on the radio this morning and said it comes out today...so where is it?? Hmm??

plans for the weekend

I haven't got any. For the next 4 days it will be just me and my cat.
If the weather brightens up I would be very happy to spend all my time in the garden but the forecast isn't good.
I might just go and count the frying pans, you never know I might have missed one.

Weekend

So far have spent half the morning figuring out my new Blackberry Curve but I really ought to get my sweet peas planted out. Amazing how things are growing even though it's still cool. Bought a chicken to roast from M&S yesterday only to discover it's already roasted! At least that's better than the time I asked OH to carve a chicken & discovered it was still raw - duh!

No cooking, OH went shopping on Sat and bought lots of goodies....tara, hoummous, artichokes, prawns, shrimps, crab, mini fig and dolcelatte quiches, pitta bread, coleslaw and some lovely cheeses, St. Agur and Brie. So back to the gym tomorrow to work it all off.... :)
