what are you plans for food today?I shall be having "mini" steak & Kindey & mushroom puddings, i shall serve with roasties and carrots and beans. And I may bake a cake? not sure about that. (first one in new oven).
Veggie pasties!
For lunch, we're having roast pork with stuffing, roasties, yorkies etc. Also cooking steak and kidney pie (was going to make it yesterday, but the meat took too long to defrost) which we can have tomorrow.Both the roast and the pie are my way of saying 'thanks' to the husband for eating several curries this week (I'd live on them, given the choice!) and preparing him for more curry in the coming week :) I still have 10+ litres of base curry sauce that needs to be used, plus some Sambar Mix that arrived in the post, so I can have my dosa and sambar for breakfast (the theory being that if I have something Indian for breakfast, I won't crave it for dinner too!).
hey samtake a look at my cheats bbq brisket,it's already in the cooker,took 5 mins to prepare,the weather is glorious here so i can go out for the day & come home to bbq...now that's what i call sunday cookin'!!enjoy!harry
