Cook electric

Just changed to modern electric fan assisted cooker having always cooked with gas,but cooker came with scant instructions &being in France they were obviously in French!
I'm looking for a good recipe book to re-learn how to cook electric, also tips on preheating etc.

Anne, there isn't much to learn really. Fan assisted ovens are great because they're economical. A conventional cooking oven temperature just needs to be reduced by 20 degrees. Advise you don't use fan for things like sponges. All that air blasting around the oven is not what a sponge wants. Good luck.
