Marmalade using frozen fruit

The Seville oranges are in the freezer and I want to make some more marmalade, my question is do I defrost them first before using or just put the frozen fruit straight into the water and then follow the recipe, what's the best thing to do?

Marmalade

I froze all my Seville oranges that I bought in January 2013 as I did not have the time to make the marmalade. I defrosted them and made the marmalade in November very successfully. My recipe adds the orange juice to the water so I had to defrost them first in order to juice them. Hope that helps

Frozen fruit

Yes that's very helpful thank you ,I need to boil the fruit whole so I will defrost them first and carry on with the recipe.
