Scaling up sponge cake

Hi, I'm going to attemmpt to bake a football pitch birthday cake for my partners 30th.
I've made regaular sponge cakes before using 225g of flour, burtter sugar and 4 eggs (I think) and vailla essence and these are normally prety tasty and I can 2 standar size round tins out of this but I need to make enough mixture for a 12x10inch rectangle tin. Do you know how much mixture I will need - I can't work out the quantity and I am hiring the cake tin so don't have the depth!
