Can I Freeze Baked Cheesecake?

I've just made a baked New York cheesecake. There is way to much of it for my immediate use. Can I freeze the cake.

Tips on how to freeze the cake would be appreciated

Freezing Cheesecake

Kevin, I've always frozen slices of left-over cheesecake, both baked and non-baked, with no problems. Have also frozen them whole for use at a later date.

How to freeze Cheesecakes

Just put the whole cheesecake on a firm base and a circle of baking parchment on the top then carefully place in a freezer bag. Once it's frozen and isn't so fragile you could remove it and package in foil too, expelling as much air as possible.

Can I Freeze Baked Cheesecake?

Guys thanks for the reply. Having seen how well the cake has turned out I certainly will be freezing it - that is if my guest don't scoff it all!!!
