Adapting a recipe to a range oven

Hi,
Merry christmas everyone.
I have a Fruit Christmas cake recipe, 7"or 8" size passed on from a good friend of my Mum's. My problem is the baking instructions are as follows: 150°C for 1 hour, 130°C for 30 mins,120°C for 30 mins and 110°C for 3 hours, but my oven is a range and the temperature cannot be adjusted rapidly.
If anyone has experience with this type of question I would love a solution. The cake is worth it (well I think so!).

Range Cooker

Mary Berry's books always give instructions for range cookers.

I take it you mean a Rayburn, Aga, Stanley or similar.

Thanks

Thanks Welshcooke. Yes, our is an Esse. I can control the temperature more than you can with an Aga. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to mention brands. I will have a look in a Mary Berry book and see if I can adapt it.
Thank you

Range cooking

I cooked for many years on and in a coal-fired Rayburn.
A lot of the dishes/cooking had to be adapted to the weather conditions.
Good wind and we roared away at a good temperature. At other times she (for she was a loyal workhorse) shall we say, sulked!
