black forest gateau again!


Can I make and fill with cream the gateau the night before or will it go soggy and cream funny?! Try in save time on the day. Thanks Happy Christmas

Hello Mandy,

Your right Mandy, you can do it the day before but the moisture from the cream will go into the sponge, which makes the cream dry out a bit. However 4 – 5 hours ahead should be absolutely fine.
