rare/medium roast beef

Any ideas how to cook a large piece of sirloin in an Aga so that one end is rare and one end is medium? I could cut it into two and cook seperately but maybe there is another way!

In our family we just give the well-done, medium beef eaters slices from the ends. The rare eaters get slices from the middle of the sirloin.
