Cheese terrine.

I can only find a 3 cheese terrine by delia. is it this recipe?

http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/main-ingredient/cheese-/terrine-with-three-cheeses.html

I have searched the "big freeze" section, and sadly its not a listed recipe suitable for freezing.

I have also had a look around various other sites, and no recipe recommends freezing.

sorry x

four cheese terrine

"A Terrine with Four Cheeses" is in the Christmas book Sam, sorry can't say if it is able to be frozen. Think my sister has made this so will ask her if she froze it before the big day.

4 cheese terrine

I didn't think of looking in the christmas book.

I have the original green one, and the new white christmas book.

the green one has the 4 cheese terrine the original poster was reffering to, the white book has a 2 cheese terrine.

The original post has made me want to make this too....so much so, i went and brought a 1lb loaf tin today!!!!

Neither of the books state this particular dish can be frozen - the new "happy christmas" on page 21 has a list of recipes that can be frozen.

It might be a thought to slice a chunk off, and simply try it out - but if its made with cottage cheese as per the green christmas book i wouldn't think it would be suitable for freezing, am sure the consistency would change incredibly. But i would think if made fresh - it could last a week in the fridge ok.
