Barley wine

Its also in the very large branches of tesco and sainsburys in the real ale/cider section usually on the top shelf.

Or you can omit it totally and increase the liquid amount in rum, brandy, whisky, or likewise guiness, or a good hoppy beer.

Hope this is helpful

Most Waitroses split the four packs and sell individual cans.

Barley Gold at Waitrose

Do you know if the Waitrose Bank's Barley Gold is actually Barley Wine? When I have looked at the can it only mentions Strong Ale.

barley Gold (barley wine) at asda

Hi,
I've just managed to find this at Asda, unfortunately £5.85 for 4 cans but will take D's advice and use the leftover for a Beef in Beer and keep the remaining cans for another time.
Last year i managed to get a single can in a local all hours convenience store, they no longer stock it though as they've had to downsize due to recent competition from a local chain supermarket!

As far as I know it is barley wine. I don't like it so replaced it with more stout and I don't like run so replaced it with brandy
