Chocolate Chip Muffins

I'm letting my young (almost 5) gran-niece make some chocolate chip muffins after school

Anyway I have several recipes most of which use butter, one uses oil. I don't really want to use butter, it's to expensive to mess about with so I was wondering if I could substitute the butter for soft margarine (stork)? If not I'll probably just stick to the hard stork margarine

Thanks
Kevin.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

I've had some good results using oil in muffins (the secret of a good muffin is you don't have to overwork the mix, so oil is easy) if you think that would work out cheaper than butter. Obviously you get the best flavour from butter.
