Does anyone know how to make these puff pastry cakes with Threaded coconut on top and frangipan and jam inside.

do you know i have been looking for this recipe for ages.

I know exactly the type of cake you are talking about, because, as a special treat a bakers near my nan's (who lives in london ironically) used to sell these and if i was very good i would get one of these as a proper treat.

now i know the real name of them.

I do hope someone can help you with your request, as i want to make some too,

I have found the ideal recipe, after what seems hours of searching - and the photo looks just how i remember.

go to the bbc goodfood magazine recipe in a google search and it is there - with the icing topped coconut shreds, its not actually a good food magazine recipe, its a reader recipe, but by golly - it sounds pretty much like the real thing, as the few "comments" have said.

you little diamond, for raising this subject.
