Delia/silverwood

Noreen, the Delia/silverwood loaf tins says the recipes are after a 2lb size tin but on colanders website they said 1lb size, i thought that was an error but amazon now sells them and they state 1lb size loaf tin . I suppose I should pop to Hitchin to look in colanders shop rather than Internet but its a time factor at the moment and don't really need another loaf tin but I rather like the look of these....any thoughts ?

Delia's loaf pan

Hi Foodie, I can see how this has caused confusion, the Delia/Silverwood loaf pan is indeed the same as the Silverwood 1lb loaf pan and will need liners to fit a 1lb loaf. Delia explains that although it is a 1lb pan it makes a 2lb cake. I work in a Cook Shop and sell the Delia range so I do know the Delia pan is definitely a 1lb pan. Hope this helps. The Tala brand of liner is a good fit.

Loaf pans

Hello, see Noreen's explanation:
http://www.deliaonline.com/Community/forum.html?forum_action=5&forum_forumid=6&forum_threadid=12108

If it helps the Silverwood Delia loaf pan measures 12x18x6 cm approximately. These are internal measurements.

Hope this helps.
