electric mixer

In her recipes, Delia uses an electric hand whisk. As I have a food processor with a fixed bowl and whisk, I wondered if I would get the same results.
Has anyone tried this?

You don't say what sort of food processor you have, but mine has whisks that are for beating egg whites (I've never used them) not for beating stiffer mixtures like a cake.
Read the f.p. instructions fully and it should tell you what the whisks are designed for.

A Food Processor and a kmix food mixer are quite different machines. The Kmix is designed for cakes etc. but the poster was asking about a f.p.

Kmix

Thank you, for your replies, I do have a Kmix so it seems it would be OK for cakes
