pork jelly

Hi I made some jelly from pigs trotters and now I'm stuck with it in the fridge. Does anyone know how long it stores for and what I can make with it? would love some ideas.

Pork jelly

Just one thing comes to mind. Raised pork pie. Yummy. No idea how long it will keep but I'm sure it freezes well.

If you still have the meat from the pigs feet you could boil some shin beef in with it to make brawn, when put in a mold and allowed to set brawn is wonderful sliced on sandwiches.

Brawn is what it is called in Derbyshire, other places may have a different name for it, it's called "head cheese" in Canada.

jellied pork

As Thistledo says it freezes for ages. Essential in raised pork pies or dishes involving aspic. Can also be used as any stock. BTW The skin of pork or bacon can be used to set stock, not just the trotters.
