bread rolls

hi made some nice soft bread rolls and they were fine ,tasted very nice etc .but thought they looked slightly dull grey when cut them open ,not a white kind of bread if you know what i mean .but the texture taste was fine .plus they all got eaten ,any help please on this .thanks

the recipe was inside the co.op leaflet these were ingredients .
675g bread flour
1 sachet dried yeast
1 tsp salt
420ml tepid water

I've got a breadmaker now but I know what you mean.I don't think I've ever made bread/rolls that have been white like shop bought ones. Maybe in the early years but that is going back too long ago.Mine seemed to be a creamy colour. Isn't bread flour labelled unbleached now adays so maybe that is the reason. Maybe someone with more knowledge will know . But it's all about the taste so if they taste good don't worry .
