Rosti crab cakes

Is it ok to freeze them before frying?The crabmeat was fresh(pasteurised)

Once the cakes are shaped, open-freeze them until solid then store in polythene or a plastic container. Cook from frozen, allowing an extra 10 minutes cooking time for defrosting. Alternatively, allow to defrost in the fridge overnight before cooking.
