AGA help!

Is there any AGA cooks that can help me with this question? My Boss has his mother Christmas Cake receipe that he wants recreated, the oven temperature says to cook it at 150c for 2 hours, the AGA has the slow oven Temp about 130c or the baking oven 190c. What would be the best way to cook it. I have had a trial run and cooked it for an hour in the baking oven and a further 30 mins in the slow oven, it seems to have worked (waiting with bated breath for the result!!) but it did look a little crusty - hers always looked perfect! (of course)Any idea would be gratefully received. Also does anyone have any great gluten free receipes? He is very hard to please!

Gluten free

Try a website called Grouprecipes.com. It is an American site for the most part but they have a large selection of gluten free recipes.

Gluten free recipes

Depends what you are looking for really - cakes or general?

I have 2 chocolate recipes in my profile that are gluten free, but I suggest you also try Nigella's clementine cake - which uses ground almonds & clementines & is 'Christmassy' & keeps well, & can be served as a dessert or cake. You can find it on her website. But if you google you will find loads.

But why can't he bake his own? Is it in your job description? :-)
