Christmas pudding

I'm steaming my Christmas puddings (classic recipe) in my slow cooker - I have them on high, how long should I cook them for?

Delia-people told me that you can't over-steam them. I hadn't known this.

Steaming

In my saucepan or in the oven I steam mine for 6 to 8 hours , so I am guessing that steaming is just that , no difference in time between the oven & a slow cooker .
On the stovetop in a saucepan mine just cook with the water just bubbling , so I guess it is the same in a slow cooker.
No , you can only under cook , not over cook a Christmas pudding.
