Christmas cake tin

Hello all, I am about to make Delias Christmas cake and it says we should use an 8 inch (20cms) round or 7 inch (18cms) square, I only have a 9.5 inch (23cms) round which is also one that you can unclip the sides after to get cake out, is this ok to use this type also what should i do re timings with a larger tin or should i buy the correct size tin, sorry sounds a bit fussy but i want it to come out as perfect as it can be,

looking forward to hearing from you,

best regards

Kieron
