Bread and butter pudding

I'm making a bread and butter pudding at the weekend for guests but wondered if I could pre-bake it in advance, then just reheat in the oven before serving? Will this work or is it best to cook it from fresh? Any ideas how long to reheat, if suitable to do this?
Thank you.

I don't think it works well reheated - not for guests anyway. (Different matter if it is leftovers for family that you zap in the microwave).

What you could do though, is assemble it early, even the day before if really necessary & leave it in the fridge covered with clingfilm. It will then absorb fully & be a lovely silky combo when you finally bake it.

I agree it's probably a bit risky to reheat for guests and will be much better cooked fresh - at least it can be assembled ahead of time! Many thanks for your help!
