Very small Christmas cakes

I wanted to make some individual Christmas cakes this year as presents, so I bought an 8cm cake tin (about 3 inches). I thought there would be guidance given as to cooking time and temperatures, but -no!

Given that I'm using a rich fruit recipe, how long, and at which temperature should I cook these cakes?
HHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPPPPP
please?!*

I think that is such an out-of-the way request you can hardly expect it to be catered for.

Why not make a normal-sized cake and cut out 8cm little cakes if that is what you want.

There will be cake left over, but with a bit of imagination I'm sure you can use up the bits.

On second thoughts; make a slab of cake. Marzipan and ice it and cut into squares, slices or rectangles, then there will be no waste. Then you can add suitable decoration to each cake.

Hi
I did this recently with mini cake tins. I cooked them at gas mark 2 and started checking on them after about an hour. my tins were smaller than yours so the timings will be different, but just keep checking until they are cooked

It is not meant to be condescending, just practical. Take it any way you want. I have no idea how experienced the OP is. I've never met her, just as you have never met me.
