Little Christmas Puddings in the oven

I may be dreaming but I have it in my mind that having made Delia's christmas pudding I put the mixture into 8 individual pudding tins and then cooked them in the oven. The tins were place in a large oven tin with water and cooked. Can anyone help me with this? I can't remember the oven temp or cooking length, neither can I find anything written down but I'm almost sure I really did cook them this way.

Oven method.

Yes you can cook the puddings in the oven.
This is how I cook mine.
Line them up in a roasting tin, put boiling water in the tin allowing it to come up half way.
I use a layer of greaseproof paper or parchment , then on top of that I use a layer of foil .Make sure that you seal the tin so no steam escapes, my Sister uses 2 layers of foil , instead of one of each like me , but either way the secret is to seal the tin really well.
Heat the oven to 160, put the tin in , then after 20 mins I turn mine down to 130.
The puddings will need to steam for 6 hours.
Just check once or twice that there is enough water in the tin , if not just add boiling water.
Do remember that you will need to up the heat for 10 mins each time you open the oven , it is important to replace the heat you looose when the door is opened as you need to keep streaming the puddings.
The temp I use works for me , I have a fan oven.
