classic christmas cake

I have Delia's classic Christmas cake in the oven at present, and just have a little question...I presume we take all the original baking parchment off the cake after we take it out of the tin?
Or do we let it cool before taking parchment off?

I will then feed it when its cold...I have replaced the original brandy with bramble brandy so looking forward to trying at Christmas

Methinks I am having a senior moment here!

Christmas Cake

I always leave the original parchment on until I need to remove it for marzipanning or to remove the parchment on the bottom to feed the cake.
