wedding fruit cake

I am making two tiers of my own wedding cake. Does anyone have the recipe scaling for Delia's recipe for a 12" cake and a 10" round fruit cake. Also I need cooking times please.

Thank you

This comes up a lot - if you go to the Information Centre (on the left of the page) you should find everything you need.

Thank you, however the chart only tells me about 9" and 11" and I need 10" and 12".

Try looking at the above website. I think it has the sizes you need.

10" round Xmas cake.

SonyaK's link is one I use all the time, except that my timing is different.
I cook it (in a fan oven) for 10 hours at 100C. Have done this for years. Much easier as the margin of error is much greater at low temperatures.

Gerry - I probably got the link from you!!
Certainly from someone on DOL

Yes, it was a great discovery. My slow-cooking method is my own, though, after years' of agonising over timings. Top never goes too dark and doesn't need covering.
