Non Dairy Tartare sauce?

Hi everyone. I am trying to find some ideas for a nice tartare sauce which can me made with non dairy ingredients. All of the recipes I have found so far involve the use of mayonnaise which is a no no for me unfortunately. Cream, milk and even dried egg upset my tummy something awful. I can tolerate goats milk, plain natural yoghurt, rice milk and often make up a sauce using the yoghurt, ketchup, lemon juice mustard or whatever is needed to spice it up. Would this type of base sauce be any good for a tartare do you think or does anyone know of one without dairy ingredients? Thanks for any suggestions.

non-dairy sauce tartare

Maura, I think it would work with Oatly "Cream", which is dairy-free. I use it to make ice-"cream". The flavour isn't very nice but it takes up the taste of other ingredients totally. You'll need the "cream" not the Oatly "milk".

Oatley cream

Thanks Gerry I'll look out for that. I do buy Goats cream now and then as I can tolerate goats milk and cheese in small amounts. Funny thing is I can't eat coleslaw or tartare sauce - gives me a dreadful time :-(
I presume I just follow normal recipes for tartare using the oatley cream?

oatly tartare

I'd mix all the ingredients. Oatly turns runny, then sets on being chilled. Never made s.tartare but great for ice-"cream"; I do a dark chocolate one and a chestnut one.
