Pork chops

Pleas help me zing up some pork chops.

Have most of the usual suspects in the cupboards.

Took them out the freezer and just don't want them now - so hopefully you can inspire, fed up of the usual grilled with tats and veg or braised in cider.

Pork chops

I'm also looking for inspiration. This week I got four pork chops in my order that I didn't ask for. Very nice of Waitrose, but we don't really eat them very often. I usually end up doing something with apples and wholegrain mustard.

What about Delias pork chops with porchini mushrooms? I love this, but prefer it with ceam and not creme fraiche ( naughty I know! )
I cook the chops with the mushrooms,
when they are ready I remove them from the roasting pan leaving juice and most of the mushrooms and then add the cream, serve the chops on to the plates, and spoon the sauce over. Gorgeous!

I've been jazzing mine up with some Levi Roots recipes - you should be able to google them.

Also Sam, I was wondering whether the Good Food ribs sauce would work well with chops too.

Pork chops

Had this tonight with pork loin steaks but could work with pork chops if you remove the bone first I guess.
Trim the fat from 4 prok steaks and bash till 5mm thick.
Put three slices of thick white bread, zest of one lemon,50g Parmesan cheese,50g pine nuts and leaves of 2 rosemary sprigs in a processor and blitz till fine crumbs.
Put 3tbsp plain flour in one dish,2 beaten eggs in another. Season the pork, dust in flour, dip into egg, press into crumbs, coating evenly. Heat olive oil in pan and fry 2-3 mins each side.serve with lemon wedges. Lovely.

Pork chops

How about marinading them in some terriaki or some such sauce then making a satay sauce to serve them with and add some coleslaw, new potatoes and salad, or gado gado?
