Can anyone give me a recipe for a 4ins round sponge please?

Sponge

Is it too simplistic to suggest you try with a 1 egg mixture? Or make a normal size sponge and cut out the size you want and use the rest for a trifle?

Or make a normal mixture with 3 eggs and use it to fill several, squat pineapple tins, for example.
