For Karen who had a problem with her mum's vase being cloudy. Did you try the vanish powder and did it work. Have looked for a message from you as to wether it worked but have not seen anything. Would love to know how you got on with it?

Hi Jb, sorry not to have replied before - things have been a bit hectic here. Unfortunately the Vanish didn't work and I don't want to take aggressive measures in case I damage it. The film looks almost like oil on a puddle, but less bright, if you know what I mean - a bit like lustre glass.
I think I'll just have to leave it, and bequeath it to my younger daughter who has always wanted it.
