By Kedgeree 30 Apr 2012 10:18	Technical not tasting! Sorry, this isn't related to cooking so didn't know where to put it. Do any of you know whether/ where a voice operated telephone can be sourced? My friend is bedridden with arthritis and unable to dial numbers or lift the receiver. Is there anything available for people with manual disabilities? Any information or guidance/pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you and apologies if this is in the wrong place. Reply Quote

Might be an idea to speak to the Occupational Therapist via the local social services as they will be able to give you advice on what is available and may even be able to assist with the cost. By SonyaK 30 Apr 2012 10:59	Technical not tasting! Not sure if it had to be a landline. But if a mobile phone is OK then the iPhone (I don't have shares in Apple, unfortunately!!) have 'assistive touch' which is designed for people with limited movement. Reply Quote
