Dead Man's Grip

On my to read list, one of my favorite crime writers, read all the earlier ones in the series. Looking forward to it. x

Have recently started Peter James' latest and I'm finding it so difficult to put down which is nothing unusual for his books. It's on a very controversial subject into which he has done a lot of research.....

Ooooh Gerry, I hope you enjoy it; it took him eleven years to write!

Essex Girl - Perfect People

Thanks for recommendation; enjoyed it despite the faults. A couple both carrying an autosomal recessive do seem to get the right advice these days - at least the one couple I've known - without having to go so far. The very end was touching, if on my list of likely happenings. BTW, among other things I couldn't believe he lost it and got sloshed to that reporter.

Glad you enjoyed it, Gerry. Agree it was a bit extreme in places but who knows what the future holds? I don't think I could ever have bonded with those children. As you did, I was sort of expecting an ending something along those lines. I like the way Peter James writes short chapters, which makes reading in bed easier, but despite that I had to keep turning the pages!
