Has anyone read any Caro Fraser books?

I've read a couple. I'm not a huge fan, but they are a good choice if you want some light weight holiday reading. The author is a lawyer, and the main characters are lawyers based in the Inns of Court.

Yes, that's the Caper Court series, I've just finished the latest one Breath of Corruption which I really enjoyed. I like the Caper Court books rather than her others though.

I read the first few some years ago and enjoyed them. I did feel though that towards the end of the series, and I didn't read all of them, the stories began to become a little contrived.

If you enjoy them, you might look at Susan Howatch's series about church politics in The Church of England series starting with "Glittering Images". I thoroughly enjoyed them.
