Bought it for 40p in a charity shop as it said International Bestseller and Galaxy award winner. Took it to read on hols - The Devil Wears Prada. Well, it might have been a hit film but the book was utterly uninspiring!
The Op Shop I volunteer at sells books. "Mills and Boone"sell well and are "Bestsellers" but I certainly wouldn't read them!!!!I thought The Devil Wears Prada sounded boring - thanks for confirming it!!
I loved this book! Mind you in a previous life I worked for a woman who was exactly the same so I really identified with it.
Haha - how long did you survive there, Nor? I don't know how Andrea & Emily put up with a boss like Miranda!
Two and a half years, although it seemed much, much longer!
