Anyone else a sucker for her books.....?

I love 'em! I have her latest, The Best of Times - yet another huge tome to take on holiday. I wouldn't mind, but we haven't even got a holiday planned....

I've just finished it!! Was good - but they always are. She can tell a good yarn, and you don't have to think too hard about it - perfect for a holiday

I'm another sucker for her books. Read The Best of Times a couple of weeks ago. I always look forward to a new one from Penny, as Expat said, she can be counted on for a good yarn.

Have recently read The Best of Times, and loved it - fortunately we were on holiday as I couldn't put it down! But oh boy, her books make your arms ache.

I agree! And I like the fact that she always includes lots of contemporary detail so it is easy to relate to what is going on - apart from not being hugely wealthy which lots of her characters are! I think my favourite of hers is her first 'Old Sins' but they are all good. I also loved the trilogy about the Lytton family.
