new Popina baking book

Has anyone bought this yet? I think I will have to give in to temptation as The Book People have it a very good price. Last Saturday's Telegraph magazine printed a few of her recipes and they sounded easy, delicious and workable.

Hi, did you watch Rachel Allen's Bake series on ukfood? she met the lady who wrote this cook book. Rachel met up with her at her market stall and then went back to where the food is made. I was very interested to see how she made the flans, using a pizza dough instead of pastry, now that I too have some of her recipes from the magazine in the Telegraph magazine one of which was how to make the flans, I shall give it a try. Took a look at the book on the Book People, seems cheap,if I can have a look at one in a book shop I might buy one.Her chocolate truffle brownies also look good. Oh dear, I think I may have just put on a couple of pounds just typing this :o)

Have you noticed that they have the Ballymaloe
book for £9.95? Rachel Allen learnt her craft here and this is a huge and comprehensive cook book. It's written by her mother-in-law, Darina Allen, but you may know that!
