Complete H2C

Difficult one Bazzer.

This is my fave and most used cook book to be honest, but Im not nearly as experienced in the ktichen as I think you are.

What I like about it is not only that it contains so many recipes but it explains so many techniques, info about ingredients etc. Have a flick through it in a shop when you've time, and then order it where it is chepest from on the internet if you like the look of it. :)

Would not be without mine.

How to Cook

Not that experienced James but just a good grounding, thanks Nan, Mum, in the basics and then trial and error once I had progressed to wanting to know more.
You can always learn more and more about the subject but after a while a lot of books get a bit samey and there are only so many variations to any method of prep, cooking, serving etc.
I just wanted to hear a few views from others before I inevitably go online and order it anyway. :-)

How to Cook

I got my copy through this site when I won a Delia Online contest.

It's very useful and reading through it, I did learn a lot.

OH, who is the baker declared that Delia's white bread recipe is the best. Works everytime.

How to Cook

After reading this thread I ordered a copy from Amazon (very cheap) and would say "buy it"! I have lots of c books including Delia's Complete Cookery Course but this is a valuable addition.
It's beautifully produced and has lots of very tempting recipes.
